I am looking for a part time admin role.

I am an experienced Senior Weddings and Events Manager currently working part-time at The Barn Brasserie in Colchester since January 2019. • Managing all wedding and event enquiries, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction. 

• Pre-event coordination including viewings, planning meetings, menu development and quote building. 

• Event coordination on event/wedding day including set up, staff allocation & management and running order of the day. 

• Management of invoicing and payments for weddings and events, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. 

• Management of the reservation system: overseeing bookings, cancellations, creating offers & promotions and maintaining restaurant availability to ensure efficient utilisation of resources. 

• Presenting findings and reports in management meetings, providing insights and recommendations for business improvement. 

• Maintaining restaurant website independently and in collaboration with external resources. 

• Maintaining 3rd party website listings to maximize exposure and generate leads. • Tracking wedding and events revenue, creating and analysing data to identify trends and improve profitability. 

• Creating and posting content for social media and email marketing campaigns, effectively promoting the business. 

• Conducting a comprehensive review of existing standards and implementing new procedures within the department. 

• Training of new staff members, ensuring their smooth integration into the team. 

• Various administrative tasks, such as managing calendars, scheduling appointments, organizing files and documents.

• Managed the team of 8 and responsible for all restaurant and event bookings for five restaurants. 

• Held financial accountability for the department, including budgeting, payroll, invoicing, credit control, as well as setting and maintaining strategic targets.
