Kate Griffiths

Motivated and hard working individual. Horses are my pasion i life, I have ridden all my life and competed sucessfully in shwjumping and Eventing. I have worked in the equestrian industry since leaving school over ten years ago. I have SVQ qualifications level 2 and 3 in riding and Horse management. I have worked In livery yards and riding schools teaching many different levels of riders from beginners to experienced riders looking to compete. I have also worked as a groom on a professional showjumping yard having sole charge of the yard at times. 

More recently after taking a break to have my son. I have been working as a diary hand, milking and looking after a 500 strong herd of dairy cows. I work as part of a team to ensure all aspects of animal welfare and hygiene are maintained to the highest standards.

I work well on my own and as part of a team. I am organized and have good time management skills. Working with animals most of my life I am well used to stressful situations and can stay calm when these situations arise. 

I am confident working with children and young people, and always try to come across in an approachable and friendly manner. 

2009 - 2021: equestrian groom/rider/instructor

January 2023 - present: Dairy farm worker 

High school: intermediate 2 level English, PE, Graphic Communication.
