I am a second year BSc Consumer Management and Food Innovation student at Ulster University, seeking placement within the United Kingdom in areas such as Product Development, Research and Development, Food Science/Testing, Consumer Insight and Statistics, Food Quality Assurance, Food Labelling and Packaging. I am an enthusiastic, adaptable student who is willing to relocate in order to achieve the best possible placement experience to further benefit myself and my career path by receiving excellent training, skills, knowledge and work from the food industry.

• Developed excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as I dealt with members of the public and their individual needs daily
• New and continuous consumer insight was gained, as I learned of the new and future trends and gained invaluable personal consumer insight which built customer relations and satisfaction
• Improved organisational skills, as new stock was recorded, priced, and put into the store whilst stock was replenished when footwear had been sold, to ensure all stock was accessible to customers and was continually flowing
• High level of customer service skills and complaints management as I always aim to meet the best interests and needs of both the customer and business, until an appropriate solution is met, or they leave satisfied with their purchase
• Negotiation skills were improved as customers would often attempt to negotiate the price of footwear, if purchasing two or more pairs, therefore discount was given accordingly, at my own discretion

• Gained resilience and a flexible approach as I adapt to meet individual customer requirements and deal with customer queries effectively 
• Excellent stamina, resilience, and the ability to work under pressure, as the environment was fast paced and catered for events of up to 500 people
• Knowledge into many dietary requirements was gained, and preventive cross contamination measures were always observed
• The importance of food safety was always put into practice when preparing and handling food
• Leadership and teamwork skills were greatly improved, as was confidence, as we often worked in teams of six or more and had someone responsible for the floor

• Event planning skills were learned as I was involved in organising fundraising events such as bake sales, quiz nights and dinner parties across the town
• Responsible for managing the Facebook page and promoting events through this platform and flyers placed in local shops
