About Louise Coetser-Reynolds:
Since completing my studies, I have decided to take some time to evaluate my next steps. I am currently looking for a role in my local area where I can contribute to the local economy whist engaging with members of the public.
I am a keen runner and try to experience as much of the outdoors as possible. Our family believe a healthy diet and lifestyle is important, therefore we strive for organic and ‘clean’ food. In my spare time, I volunteer at my local school where I help the children with their reading. I’m also a volunteer at our local cricket and rugby club, for fundraising and taking on role of on-site medic during training and matches.
Experience
BOEHRINGER-INGELHEIM

My role included promoting the companies drug portfolio to primary and secondary care clinicians. This often involved planning and organising training and education events e.g., inhaler technique, clinical and guideline updates. Customer facing was a key part of the role and building relationships critical to successful sales.
I worked well with others in my team and this was evidenced by our consistent achievement of targets and awards we received.
Key Skills acquired:
- Excellent Communication skills and demonstrating high levels of Emotional Intelligence
- Effective team working
- An ability to self-motivate and remain positive in times of challenging situations
NAPP PHARMACEUTICALS LTD Jan 2003 – Dec 2015 (redundancy)
Pharmaceutical Saleswoman
My role and responsibilities included providing pain management training and ongoing education across primary and secondary care and to ensure the company’s portfolios of analgesics were being used in the right patient and at the right time, whist ensuring safe prescribing.
I have an ability to make quick decisions and prioritise what would be best for the organisation, not just myself. I have a proven track record of putting the organisations’ needs above my own, for example; covering for colleagues and working weekends and evenings when asked.
RDL (Rapid Deployment Ltd)Pharmaceutical saleswoman | May 1994 – Dec 2003 |
I worked as a Territory Manager covering South Yorkshire. Key Achievements included a need for excellent time management skills due to the large geographical area and demanding call rate. I proved myself to be a top performer within 2 years of the role, which included studying for the compulsory ABPI exam. I was then able to progress to part-time trainer and ran training for new starters in addition to covering for the manager when required.
