I have ventured into Care giving for 4 years now just to ensure that nobody is deprived of their happiness . I derive Joy in making people smile especially in their down moment. Here are some of what I do :            
 

• Assessing the practical and emotional needs of a client and drawing upa care plan

• Providing emotional support by talking to clients and listening to theirproblems and concerns

• Assisting with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, washing andshopping

• Helping clients participate in leisure activities

• Advising clients on practical issues

• Counselling clients through an alcohol or drug addiction

• Leading meetings in residential or community centres about issuesrelevant to clients

• Co-ordinating drop-in sessions for clients

• Making case notes and completing a log book

• Collating data and statistics and undertaking administrative duties
