I am a part CIMA qualified data analyst with over 5 years of experience as a data analyst. I have a strong educational background in accountancy and a well-rounded set of data skills, including Excel, PowerBI, SQL and ETL software. I am passionate about finding innovative solutions to data challenges and delivering value to customers and stakeholders. In my current role, I led the implementation of PowerBI for Vaillant Group UK, a leading heating appliance brand with over €3.3 billion turnover, and became the youngest manager in my department as a result. I am eager to join a dynamic and fast-growing company in Dubai that values data-driven culture and excellence. I am currently based in Derby, UK and I’m available to relocate with a month’s notice period.

I have been working as a BI Development Lead at Vaillant Group UK since June 2020. I have led the implementation of PowerBI for the UK business, replacing Excel-based reporting with over 150 dashboards that helped maintain over 100,000 boiler registrations during COVID. I have also established the ETL process using Adverity and Azure SQL servers, trained over 100 sales staff and key stakeholders on PowerBI usage, and initiated a Data Driven Sales Project to optimize sales strategies. Before that, I worked as a Loyalty Analyst at Vaillant Group UK from July 2019 to May 2020. I managed the analysis of all claims data across the company’s two loyalty schemes, determined the annual loyalty tiers of over 30,000 installers, built data models for every major loyalty incentive, updated monthly loyalty reporting with high accuracy, and detected and reported over 600 fraudulent claims annually. Prior to that, I worked as a Commercial Finance Analyst at Denby Pottery Ltd from November 2016 to July 2019. I managed the forecast for promotional events for UK Trade customers and provided accurate weekly product information for the factory’s production plan. I also created ad-hoc reports for various business areas using IBM Cognos analytics software.

I studied at Sheffield Hallam University, one of the largest and most popular universities in the UK with over 30,000 students annually. I completed my degree in Accounting and Financial Management in 2014, which focused on business finance awareness, proactive and logical thinking, research and critical analysis to help managers make sound strategic financial decisions. I learned how real organisations operate and the strategies they implement by studying literature, worldwide events, case studies and financial accounts. I also examined present-day national and global developments in business strategy, management, accounting and finance. I then achieved a Certificate level qualification in CIMA after completing my foundation level CIMA exams before moving into a career of data analysis.
