Experience

I am a seasoned carer with extensive experience in diverse settings, including hospitals, stroke rehabilitation centers, and elderly care homes. I completed a rigorous six-month training program at a private hospital in Zimbabwe, focusing on essential topics such as basic life support, infection control, and medication management. My expertise was further enhanced at the Zimbabwe Alzheimer's and Related Illnesses Association, where I specialized in dementia care and public education.

Currently, as a Senior Support Worker, I provide tailored support to adults on the autism spectrum and those facing various mental health challenges. I am pursuing an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and developing my skills in British Sign Language to better assist individuals who are hard of hearing. I thrive in both independent and collaborative environments, utilizing exceptional listening skills and deep empathy to effectively meet clients' needs. I am committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those I care for and to continuous professional development in caregiving.

Education
