Thomas Bussey

Over ten years of experience in the archviz sector, split between marketing agencies and in-house for architectural practices, and many more prior to that in the D&B and office furniture sector. 

I love the unique blend of artist, technician and administrator that Archviz 
demands. I relish the challenge to translate multiple sources of design information into a tangible vision that speaks 

to its audience on an emotional level.
My passion is for large scale exteriors, moving imagery and human stories. A constant student, I will never finish learning, but I am eager to help others and share what I have learned so far.

Expert level experience of 3DStudio Max, V-Ray, Corona Renderer, Photoshop, After Effects, and many other peripheral programmes used to streamline and enhance production.

Nov 2018 – Present

• Sole dedicated visualiser for a team of over 40 staff; leading visualisation projects from conception to completion and visualising designs as they develop
• Producing AVRs (Verified View) including commisioning surveys
• Producing animation and video content for project bids and client marketing
• Architectural photography
• Developing and maintaining a working asset library
• Managing project scheduling and pricing
• Mentoring architects in visualisation, photoshop use and asset creation
• Leading image based R&D and developing working protocols for technical production pipeline.

July 2017 – Nov 2018 
• Produced CGI imagery including still interior and exterior imagery, AVR ‘verified views’ and animations 
• Collaborated with fellow artists on still image and animaiton projects
• Led animation production for account client: McCarthy Stone
• Operated remotely as the company’s Bristol office.

• Mentored apprentice and junior visualisers
• Liased directly with existing and prospective clients.
