I have worked with some of the largest International Investment Banks banks and financial institutions in the world, ( Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS ) ; JP Morgan Chase & Co ; HSBC ; ICICI Bank ) and have gained an in-depth understanding of compliance regulations. My skills include being able to quickly assess risk profiles, identify potential red flags, and recommend appropriate action plans.  Performed reviews on AML Transaction Monitoring/ Screening alerts for Canada and UK regions escalated from Level 1 (rapid disposition) and Level 2 (holistic reviews) to drafting Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to FIU or closures which include analyzing Large Cash Transaction Reports, 

Performed the AML functions to minimize risks of exposure & loss, and attainment of strategic & operational objectives.Investigated alerts referred by Frontline – Unusual Activity Reports (UARs), automated transaction monitoring systems and performed review disposition on alert.

Completed Risk assessment under regulatory requirements of FATF ,OFAC , Bank Secrecy Act & with the Bank’s KYC/AML/Sanctions & GFCC (Governance Financial Crime compliance policies.

Participated in High-Risk Customer reviews and made recommendations for approval/rejection to the Senior Manager, KYC Advisory and Head of Canada GBM AML Risk, as appropriate.
Performed Ad-Hoc activities in order to amend our client’s record on our CDD ( Customer Due Diligence ) database and projects such as Brexit, Testing on LDD Checklists, Internal Audit activities.
