Always putting the customer first, I am a quick learner who can absorb new procedures quickly and apply them calmly and efficiently. In addition, I am committed and responsible to consistently maintain a high standard of professionalism.

Relevant Duties:
• Check referral letters, results / x-rays/visual field analysis are available for clinical sessions, and contact relevant departments to obtain information if not available.
• Answer telephone and emails courteously, relay messages accurately and promptly, and answer general enquiries by visitors.
• Answer any enquiry from doctors’ secretaries regarding bookings or clinical results.
• Booking appointments for patients via telephone or emails
• Support communication with patients where there are specific communication difficulties.
• Prepare clinical area and department prior to the start of clinics.
• Measure and record routine observations of temperature, pulse, blood pressure, weight and urinalysis.
• Handle and label specimens safely and correctly
• Taken blood when needed.
• Assist patients and chaperone whilst clinical examination/procedures are being undertaken.
