    Description
    Do you have experience teaching students with special education needs and want to work at a modern and well resourced School with a supportive and enthusiastic staff team who are committed to achieving high standards?

    Or are you currently a mainstream primary or secondary teacher that would embrace the opportunity to develop your teaching skills with Special Educational Needs (SEN) pupils with the support and guidance from a dedicated staff and leadership team?

    Are you looking for a part time role, 3.5 days a week with the option to do additional cover on the other days?

    If you answered yes to any of these questions we could have the perfect opportunity for you


    We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to teach a KS3 PMLD class for a specialist secondary school.

    The successful candidate will teach in a warm and nurturing environment and will create a positive learning experience for the pupils.

    The school has excellent facilities to accommodate the student's needs.

    Devising lesson plans to suit the pupils
    Delivering engaging lessons to pupils
    Supporting the additional needs of the pupils
    Differentiating lesson plans to ensure equal accessibility to learning
    Keeping track of students progressRequirements for this role are:

    A DBS on the update service
    A teaching qualification (NQTs welcome to apply)
    Dedication to improving pupil's learning experience
