- Setting up test rigs according to specifications given by the Test Engineer
- Fitting sensors required for test rig set up.
- Checking that bolts are torqued and to the correct tension for test set up.
- Use of hand tools and some power tools
- Drilling and tapping holes required for test rig set up.
- Monitoring the test equipment during test processes and reporting any events to the Test Engineers
- Fabrication in the workshop – equipment includes Vertical drill, bandsaw, sander, mag drill and grinding/cutting equipment.
- Main fabrication activities are to fabricate supports for test equipment and to fix any set up issues with mis alignment of fixtures.
- Practical hands-on experience

- Basic salary between £30,000 and £35,000 dependant upon experience
