We are recruiting for a Design Engineer to provide technical capability for the design and development of new and existing devices, from concept to volume manufacturing.
DutiesProduct Design and development of devices from concept to market releaseCompiles DHFLead's project's actions in UK and ManufacturerVerification and validation of components and assemblies.
Records all formal and relevant informal engineering information in the systemModification/amendment of new/existing drawings in accordance with design standardsSkills Degree in Product Design or engineeringExperience in a product Design Related Role or Manufacturing EnvironmentSolid Edge / Solid WorksPlastics and Injection Mould Design Problem solving techniques (i.e. DFMEA / Risk Analysis) Experience in compilation of usability engineering file.Compilation of a Technical FileExperience of working with a Product Life-Cycle Management System and/ or working with an ERP System is highly desirable.
