    Description

    HR Officer

    3 Month Contract / Likely to go permanent

    Start date: Immediate

    Recruitment and Selection:

    • Support the recruitment process with a member of the SLT
    • Ensure that all vacancies are authorised through the appropriate channels
    • Monitor the recruitment inbox and all SIP job applications
    • To ensure that all applications for posts within all departments are promptly and fairly processed, taking account of the organisations policies and procedures e.g. Recruitment & Selection Policy, Equal Opportunities & Diversity Policy.
    • Compliance checks, RTW, DBS ect...
    • To support the HR Manager with new employees, ensure they are monitored and assessed, and provided with appropriate assistance during the probationary period.
    • Monitor/track probationary periods and run a monthly report to identify staff who have passed their probationary period and inform staff accordingly.
    • Monitor all general enquiries from the public, about employment are dealt with promptly and in a professional manner.
    • Update on a regular basis the staffing matrix for the HR Manager in preparation for the Registered Manager and Service Managers fortnightly meetings.
    • Undertake the monthly HR Induction presentation and complete relevant paperwork with new staff.
    • Conduct exit interviews were deemed appropriate to enable monitoring of staff retention
    • Keep a track on the recommend a friend scheme, updating the spreadsheet and issuing vouchers.
    • Arrange and conduct in conjunction with the relevant Manager capability meetings and probationary review meetings
    • Support as and when deemed necessary the HR Manager with disciplinary and grievance matters.
    • Support as required the HR Manager and the Senior HR Officer with staff sickness absence queries, check SIP to ensure correct information has been recorded and provide guidance and support to the managers.
    • To update and maintain the current computerised database – System Information Platform known as SIP and the manual personnel records compliant with the Data Protection Act.
