Procurement Category Manager | Hybrid | £325 per day | Interim | 3 Months
Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with a fantastic Public sector organisation, to recruit a Procurement Category Manager.
This organisation operates a hybrid working policy, requiring on-site presence 1 day per week at their Wakefield based office.
This position would suit an individual with senior procurement experience that possesses strong stakeholder management skills.
Role:
- Work under the professional services category with responsibility for the National Uniform Contract
- Undertake contract management on projects to ensure that suppliers are performing to the key performance indicators within the contract
- Undertake contract renewal and retendering activity
- Proactively develop and maintain specialist category knowledge and have an awareness of constantly changing markets
- Identify opportunities for cost savings
Person:
- Open to individuals from a Public and Private sector background
- Ability to work on own initiative
