- Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and programs tailored to the requirements of the projects
- Collaborating with project teams to develop and implement effective control measures to mitigate risks and enhance the safety of our workforce.
- Oversee the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses
- Liaise with project stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and subcontractors to promote a culture of health and safety excellence and to address any related concerns or issues.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in health and safety management, incorporating relevant advancements into our project strategies and programs.
- Diploma level safety qualification
- Chartered Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) or CertIOSH and working towards
- Proven regional managerial experience in health and safety management
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels to drive a positive safety culture.
- A track record of understanding in varied construction projects
- Happy travelling with occasional overnight stays.
