Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board welcomes applicants for the fixed term post of Specialty Doctor within the Cardiology Service at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor.
Ysbyty Gwynedd is located on the doorstep of the Snowdonia National Park and the Menai Straits, and covers a rural area the size of Greater London.
There are unique challenges in delivering high quality health care to this diverse population, and we are seeking a highly motivated team player to come and join a dynamic team of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.
The Cardiology Department provides a service to approximately 250,000 people in a predominantly rural area covering 1,600 sq. miles.He/she will be welcomed by those working in the department, with every encouragement to develop their own sub-specialty interests, innovations and research projects.
The post holder will also be required to take part in the acute medical care team on-call rota, currently 1:5.If you relish a challenge, have a passion to help others or simply fancy a fresh start, then Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales, has all the right ingredients.

Postgraduate qualification in Cardiology
Minimum 4 years or more at FY2/CT with at least 2 years experience within Cardiology
