    We are seeking a talented and motivated Enterprise Systems Administrator to join our Enterprise IT Team. As an Enterprise Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in understanding and enhancing the cohesion between Bede's internal systems, ensuring best working practices, scalability, and continuous improvement. This role requires a combination of handson expertise, practical decisionmaking skills, and a strategic mindset to prioritize project work and businessasusual (BAU) practices.

What you'll be doing:


  • Provide systems support and education to the wider business, ensuring users are equipped with the knowledge and skills to maximize the benefits of Atlassian tools.
  • Take ownership of JIRA architecture, including schemes, workflows, screens, and configurations, to optimize system performance and meet business requirements.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with different teams to align on outcomes for Atlassian systems at Bede.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in the JIRA Marketplace and possess knowledge and experience of various plugins to enhance system functionality.
  • Utilise JIRA metrics and reporting capabilities to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in JQL queries and dashboard creation to provide meaningful insights and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Design, test, and deploy integrations between Atlassian products and other internal toolchains to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Participate in the full project life cycle, from conceptualisation to deployment, ensuring that Atlassian tools support project success.
  • Perform system administration on other systems, including but not limited to Slack, Google, and O365 when required

  • Perform system audits to facilitate cost savings and improve system management across the organisation.

What we are looking for:


  • Experience in a technology environment, with practical professional experience in the use of ATLASSIAN tools.
  • Proficiency in JQL (Jira Query Language) and a solid understanding of Jira Administration.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with other business units professionally.
  • Selfstarter with a proactive approach to problemsolving and the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Strong drive for continuous improvement, always seeking opportunities to enhance system performance and user experience.
