    Working hours:
    This job involves working weekdays and/orweekends (8:00am-6:00pm).Minimum 20hours contract - up to 40 hour a week when busy.


    Job purpose:

    As a Warehouse Operative Assistant, you will be assisting the Warehouse Manager and the supervisor by maintaining warehouse standards by organizing all our products, labelling and sorting out deliveries.


    Role and Responsibilities:
    You will be working withJapanese imported goods and suppliers, so Japanese language skill is a MUST

    Receive, check, replenish,organise and rotate products within the warehouse, which involve manual handling that require that require lifting up to 40kg, bending stretching and carrying.

    Picking orders
    Complete stocktaking activities on a periodic basis
    You may be required to carry out other safe and reasonable requests from your Manager or Supervisor.
    We will provide training commensurate with the tasks you are asked to complete.
    This role requires you to stand for your whole shift (excluding breaks).

    Manual Handling:
    this job requires you to lift, bend and stretch.


    Essential skills:
    Ability to lift heavy items up to 40kg on a regular basis.
    Previous experience working in a busy warehouse environment
    Ability to work at pace while maintaining attention to detail.


    Person Spec:

    Japanese Language:
    reading, writing, speaking (Essential)
    Knowledge of Japanese products(Desirable)
    Pivot steer/ ArticulateForklift license (Desirable)
    Communication skills
    Eligible to work in the UK- YMS / working holiday visa welcome.
    A two hour trial shift will be required before employment is considered.
