POST Recruitment are recruiting a Media Planning and Insights Manager to join our client, a retail marketing agency based in central Leeds.


The Media Planning and Insight Manager will ensure a full understanding of their client's media and trading activity and be able to translate the data into meaningful insight and strategy recommendations.

The insights will be used to inform category strategy,category marketing campaigns and shape future supplier proposals. This role will work closely with the account management teams, digital team, category leads and category planners.


The Role:


  • Use customer and campaign data to recommend ongoing media planning frameworks
  • Create a hub for all supplier insight and findings to help inform media activation
  • Work closely with analytics and insight partners, briefing analytical outputs, post campaign analysis requirements, media performance insight dashboards, test and control methodologies etc.
  • Create & refine customer targeting strategies and frameworks using the Adobe Customer data platform
  • Source all relevant data
  • Prepare category and supplier level media performance reviews & recommendations
  • Create case studies and test scenarios by category for new products launched
  • Refining post campaign analysis and enhanced PCA recommendations

Your Experience:


  • Previously worked in an insight or data function within retail
  • Experience in Media Data essential
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Used to working across multiple stakeholders across various companies
  • Worked extensively across different technology platforms and processes; able to pull together a single view of data, to drive campaign and category insight
  • Worked across a variety of datasets, specifically web analytics, CRM, communications and user management & access
