    Company DescriptionBollywood Bites is in town we are an innovative mobile food business that offers authentic, high quality Indian street food.

    After having reviewed the existing propositions of mobile Indian street food across London and the South East, we found that whilst there are a couple of options - there is a gap in high quality, authentic produce which provides both flavour and healthy options.


    Nisha Riat:

    Being brought up in London to parents of Indian origin who emigrated to the UK from Africa, I have been exposed to a flavoursome Indian palette from an early age.

    Having always grown up in a community of rich heritage and being of Gujarati descent, I learned early on about the art of high grade Indian cooking and having visited India on many occasions - developing a passion for Mumbai Street Food.

    To further enhance my learning & mastery in the world of culinary adventures, I have completed a professional cookery course with Leiths Online Cookery School and have passed Level 2 Food Hygiene and Allergy Awareness certificates.

    Alongside this Bollywood Bites is now an NCASS accredited business.


    Avneet Riat:
    Has a 20+ year corporate career consulting for multiple startups, scaleups and enterprise businesses.

    Avneet has lived in the UK, India (Delhi) and Canada developing a good understanding of Indian cuisine and it's multiple flavours.

    He most recently spent 8 years in a senior role at Just Eat Takeaway - developing a deep understanding of the global food industry, restaurants and logistics.

    Over time we aim to become the UK's most well known Indian Street Food company by making street food more fun and accessible.

    Role DescriptionThis is a contract Lead Chef position located in Watford.

    As a Lead Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, managing a team of kitchen staff, and ensuring the quality and consistency of the food.

    Your day-to-day tasks will include menu planning, food preparation, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
    QualificationsProven experience as a Chef or in a similar roleKnowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisinesStrong leadership and organizational skillsAbility to work well under pressure and manage a fast-paced kitchen environmentExcellent attention to detail and creativity in food presentationUnderstanding of food safety and hygiene regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCulinary degree or equivalent experienceValid food handler
