    Discovery Land Company is a US-based developer and operator of private residential club communities with a world-renowned portfolio of domestic and international properties.

    Taymouth Castle Golf and Sport Club is Discovery Land's second European private members-only golf & sport community. Nestled between two national parks and at the head of Loch Tay in Kenmore, Perthshire, the club incorporates several land estates and is rich in history with dramatic views and the offer of endless adventures.

    This private lifestyle-driven community will offer 125 residences, a world-class golf course and practice facility, wellness and recreation facilities, a range of outdoor pursuits as well as a refurbished 19 th century castle to offer a clubhouse with a range of food & beverage outlets and indoor activities when fully established. The Club also offers additional facilities at Glenlyon, a nearby farm and mountain estate. Taymouth Castle will offer a membership that values its relationships, its health, its leisure time, and is a modern community that honours Scotland's strong legacy of history, outdoor adventure and, most importantly, fun.

    The first phase of the castle is due to open late spring/summer which will be an exciting time.

    Our team is 'growing,' and we are looking to add to our culinary management team with the addition of a Head Staff Chef who will be responsible for driving the creation of exquisite dishes. Offering a creative range of hearty food for our team who are all unique and special in their own little ways and need someone like you to keep their tummies full to ensure they are provided with the nutrition and energy they require to carry out their individual job roles....

    All prepared from our Kenmore Hotel, meals are distributed by the guest services team to the Castle and at various locations across the Taymouth and Glenlyon Estates.

    Leading the staff chefs you work with the Culinary Director and Head chef in developing exciting and creative menu choices. We are not just any 'team,' and you should not be afraid to tickle their taste buds with twists on traditional classics.

    With our formidable one hundred plus work force at the heart of everything prepared; you do not serve up the same grub day in, day out.... you can manage and develop enthusiastic chefs as they craft their skills and hone their talent. Training and developing; allowing and encouraging participation with ideas and suggestions of new menu ideas.

    With an incredible larder and a range of local suppliers at your disposal the staff chefs incorporate a wide variety of ingredients by using seasonal and innovative techniques. Our staff menus are engineered to make the best of the finest ingredients Scotland's incredible larder has to offer. Always playing an ever-meaningful role in maintaining a seasonal and sustainable approach.

    Coordinating and overseeing all activities related to staff food preparation. Regularly check food items and stock to ensure consistency and freshness, addressing any food compliance issues. Keeping our team healthy and well fed with the nutrition and energy required to conduct their individual job roles. Playing your part in ensuring they provide our members and their guests with memorable experiences.

    From the first meal of the day, breakfast, through to the final course at supper; with a world of experiences available where no two days will be the same, you have the freedom to do your best work.

    This superb opportunity is for an enthusiastic and creative Chef. You may be an experienced Sous Chef or a Chef de Partie ready to take the next step in your culinary career, or, looking for a change and an opportunity to work with locally sourced produce. You may be working within a Hotel, Restaurant, Visitor Attraction or Contract Catering business.

    We need someone who wants to work with the best and be part of a unique and exciting project. Crafting uniquely personalised dishes, mindful you work alongside a team who goes beyond in creating experiences for our members and guests.'
