Speedy Freight Swindon, a leading logistics provider in the UK, are looking for a customer service advisor to join their busy and growing office in Melksham.

Speedy Freight provide direct and dedicated transport to businesses across a range of industries throughout the UK and Europe. Operating in a fast-paced environment, we provide tailored solutions to clients moving critical, time-sensitive, abnormal and fragile loads.


THE ROLE

  • To help manage high spend accounts within our operating region
  • Ensure standards expected by the client are achieved and maintained at all contract sites
  • Developing and managing existing business
  • Managing jobs from enquiry stage through to delivery for all new and existing clients
  • Arranging international loads and assisting with customs paperwork
  • Carrying out adhoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, audits as required by and to support the Management Team

CRITERIA

  • Ideally logistics experience but NOT essential
  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and at times under pressure
  • Experience of customer service and strong administration skills

Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
