Overview and Purpose of Role
Working as part of the maintenance team, the Maintenance Engineer will be assisting in the maintenance, repair and modification of all manufacturing and facility plant and equipment.
Role Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that you abide by health, safety, and environmental policies, championing a
" safety first " culture whether at a customer site or on the premises.
• Ensure the smooth running and maintenance of all manufacturing and facility equipment on a daily basis.
• Actively minimise plant and equipment downtime in support of production by responding quickly to breakdown situations when required.
• Carry out planned maintenance on bespoke equipment and contribute to continuous improvements on machines and processes.
• Create and manage the preventative maintenance programme for the repair and modification of machines and facilities as appropriate or required providing reports on a regular basis.
Position: Maintenance Engineer
Reports to: Continuous Improvement Manager
Department: Operations
Location: Dungannon site
Hours: 41.5
• Read, interpret and understand electrical schematics, control system logic diagrams
and mechanical drawings.
• Methodically troubleshoot and fault-find electrical, mechanical and control
equipment in order to determine the root cause of problems.
• Liaise on an on-going basis with Supervisors, Managers and team members.
• To be available for overtime and on a call out basis to provide maintenance and
breakdown cover over a 24-hour period.
• Ensure all paperwork is up to date, completed and filed.
• Ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations, Policies & Procedures.
• Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system.
• Be a customer service agent for the maintenance team, collaborating across departments to problem solve maintenance issues in a timely professional manner.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance to ensure all plant and machinery is regularly serviced
• Any other reasonable duties as requested by Management Continuous Improvement
• Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes and implement measures to improve overall efficiency of plant and machinery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall service of plant and M achinery
Role Requirements
• 3 years proven experience of maintaining plant and equipment in a production environment
• A basic understanding of engineering drawings and principles.
• Experience of preventative maintenance.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve maintenance issues
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with various teams
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to drive process improvements.
• Inspiration attitude & team focus
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
