    Job overview

    Hours: 40 hours per week, 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, including attendance at INSET and Open Mornings.

    Salary: £25,998 per annum pro-rata inclusive of holiday pay (£33,509 FTE)

    Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (36 weeks per year)

    St George's Weybridge offers a perfectly balanced co-educational education, and is the largest independent Catholic school in England. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Librarian to join the Library at St George's Junior School. The Junior School Librarian is responsible for the management, development and promotion of the Library throughout the Junior School to support teaching, learning and to encourage a love of reading.

    The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of children's literature, previous experience using a library management IT system would be advantageous, and strong IT capabilities are essential. The Junior School Librarian will be an excellent communicator, and able to build rapport with both pupils and staff.
