    Description
    We are seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Technician to join our dynamic Maintenance and Projects Team in Liskeard, Cornwall

    Key Responsibilities:
    Conducting fault finding on various types of machinery control systems.
    Proficiency in motor drive systems, encompassing AC and DC systems up to 390kw.
    Installation of machinery and services with a focus on electrical systems.
    Conducting electrical testing, instrumentation, and calibration.
    Demonstrating a thorough understanding of the IEE and Electricity at Work Regulations.
    Sound knowledge of electrical safety systems and their integration with control systems.
    Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Electrical Regulations, with a willingness to undertake the 18th Edition update if necessary.


    Requirements:
    Completion of a recognized apprenticeship.
    Several years of experience in an industrial production environment.

    Qualification to City & Guilds / B-Tec L3 / NVQ L3 or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or HNC with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

    Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic control systems (Desirable).Additional qualifications in Instrumentation and Control Engineering with suitable experience will be considered.

    Knowledge of PLC systems (Desirable).

    Willingness to work overtime and unsociable hours when required.
    Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    Possession of own transport is essential.


    Shift Pattern:

    Week 1:

    Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 13:15Friday: 06:00 - 14:00Week 2:Monday to Thursday: 13:00 - 22:15Salary: £35,000 - £39,000 dependent on experience.
