personal information: i have excellent customer service skills and i am friendly and easily approachable. I have great time management skills and can work professionally and efficiently. I am a determined individual who has an archaeology (ba) degree and have had experience in archaeological digs as well as several experiences in customer service areas developing my customer service skills so i can work well with the public.

a levels:
i have received a b in a-level history, c in a-level archaeology and d in a-level classics. I also have a b in an extended project qualification at a-level. The epq was an small dissertation i wrote on how ramesses ii consolidated his power throughout his reign and it was around 5,000 words.
Skills: i have decent it skills such as being able to manage basic applications such as word, excel and powerpoint, as well as being able to fix printers, computer terminals and internet connection problems. However, i would need further training to be qualified for it support. But having spent my life around electrical equipment, i know how to work most electrical equipment safely and effectively.
I am experienced in customer service and can operate a till, whilst being able to greet customers at the same time. Additionally, i have a decent level of time management which allows me to plan my time accordingly and work to deadlines.
Creative skills:
wrote and self-published my own book, natalies space adventures available on amazon. Writing several books, writing poetry as well. Have a journal of poems, i write daily. Started my own poetry podcast, called poetry podcast and is on spotify. Exploring and creating routinely.

Archaeological qualifications:
i have experience in working in a lab, and have done two courses of studying forensic remains and a single course on zooarchaeological remains. I also have a passion for the scientific techniques in archaeology such as isotope analysis which i wrote my dissertation on. I have some experience with gis however i would need further training in it to be considered an expert. I also subsequently wrote an article on the destruction of archaeological sites published by the post hole in 2016.
Archaeological excavations:
my first archaeological excavation was a bronze age dig at must farm in peterborough where i attended a field school for beginning archaeologists where i learnt the basics such as exciting test pits, recording finds and contexts and using some geophysical techniques such as metal detectors etc. I worked alongside dr lesley mcfadyen from birkbeck university and mark knight.
I also worked in jersey on a neolithic site alongside a quarry, this was different to peterborough as it was far more precarious and was more labour intensive. However, it made me manage my time as we had to fit in washing finds, digging test pits, cooking, showering and living all in a day. However, i also worked alongside dr lesley mcfadyen who has taught me a lot about archaeology and what makes an archaeologist during my time at birkbeck university.

Employment history:
my first experience in a work place environment was my work experience at the royal submarine museum. Here i was mainly working in the museum archives and the museum shop where i was assigned to price products and help with stock distribution to the cafe. It gave me valuable insight into how a shop operates and sells products to customer whilst maintaining a decent level of customer service.
After my work experience, i took a job at martins in portchester as a paper boy. This prepared me for working early hours of the morning, which developed my time management. I also gained valuable experience of dealing with the public as i had to deliver newspapers to their door. Many customers would come out and speak to me or give me occasional tips. I would often also be spoken to by the general public inquiring about my services.
After that i was working for a private employer, barbara field, who employed me as a general assistant to help with chores that she was unable to do around the house such as cleaning, hovering, mowing the lawn etc. This was responsible for installing a certain respect for the elderly, which helps me in my current volunteering position at westbury manor museum. It also equipped me with basic knowledge of domestic skills which helps me in my day to day activities.
In my volunteering at westbury manor museum i mostly help out in the cafe, but am also responsible for creating an index of the books in the resource record room which will eventually be able to provide an easy way for the general public to find the books they require. It has taught me how to operate a till and how to greet customers whilst serving hot and cold beverages to them, educating me in the importance of great customer service. I have been a volunteer for over 2 years at the museum, occasionally volunteering whenever i am able to and am back in my hometown.
I also volunteered to help rob luckins as a photographic assistant on location shoots for dephect clothing in which i help with adjusting lighting and setting up photography equipment. These shoots equipped me with the experience of learning about something that is entirely new to me, and helped in building my confidence to explore jobs which i have little knowledge of.
Another job was general maintenance around heythrop college, in high street kensington, london. This involved a range of jobs from gardening to painting, to cleaning toilets etc. This gave me experience in a range of different jobs and served to build up my confidence, and people skills as many people would rely on me for information.
My last job is working for hampshire cultural trust and working at two different venues, milestones museum and its sister site, basing house. I worked at milestones for two years, working at milestones museum i have had experience in multiple areas
bar work
working in the baverstock arms, i have learnt how to manage serving customers, doing feedback surveys and stocking up the bar, as well as general maintenance such as cleaning. I have learnt to manage this by myself, since the bar is a one-person operation. In addition to this, i have learnt how to clean lines, rack and tap barrels of real ale, as well as being a costumed interpreter.
Reception work
working on reception at milestones museum i have learnt how to answer calls effectively and transfer to the right department, handle stock deliveries and have experience using digitickets, and upselling additional products to customers before they buy their annual ticket.
Cafe work
doing the cafe at milestones museum, has given me the experience of working in a stressful and fast-paced environment and serving hot food between the hours of 12-2, and have helped in the kitchen downstairs on busy days when i was needed.
In addition to this, i am tasked with knowing and remembering at least 3 fire marshal routes and have had online and real-life training on how to evacuate a large venue and do the sweep daily at the end of the day as a security sweep. I am also a workplace champion and have helped people log onto the workplace app, which is a social media work tool.
Basing house
basing house has given me the confidence i needed to work on my feet and improvise when needed since the site suffers from a lack of resources. It has given me experience with managing events such as the re-enactment of the fall of basing house with the sealed knot and working a couple weddings over there as well.

Natural history museum
i worked at the natural history museum for a year working with a big team and a big venue, working together with my co-workers to deliver an amazing customer experience. Working there, i work in four different shops, main, cranbourne and fantastic beasts, wpy. Working in fantastic beasts allows me the opportunity to work alone and chat with customers, as it is a one person operative. Furthermore, it allows me to allow me to learn new skills such as replenishment, pricing and allows me to refine my ability to work by myself. I have also worked in the anning room working with laura and carmelo to learn the ropes, focusing on the members, and learning how to use the galaxy system. Additonally, i have been granted a manager code, so i am able to refund customers and exchange items as well help tutor new colleagues that have just started.
I also have experience working as visitor experience, working directly with the public and making sure the museum was running smoothly, handling everything from answering customer queries to dealing with school groups and the occasional missing child, in which we would return the child to their partners.
Vue cinema
i have worked in vue cinemas for six months, i stared on concessions where i learnt how to operate a till, serve food such as popcorn, nachos and hotdogs but have performed many jobs in the time i have been there. I've worked on gate, screen checks, where we check the film audio and visual quality, work closely with the audience to make sure they have a great experience, and stop people from pirating the film. I've also worked on floor, cleaning the screens as they come out, and worked closely with the overnight to prepare the cinema for the morning staff and customers. In addition, i've worked in the cash office, learning how to do the cash office and backoffice programmes and counting the cash at the end of day. I have had many duties in my six month tenure at vue cinema
