    Job Description:

    We are seeking a talented Diabetic Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. As a Diabetic Nurse, you will work alongside a dedicated group of professionals to deliver exceptional care and support to patients managing diabetes.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Provide expert guidance and management in diagnosing and treating patients with diabetes.
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop personalized care plans and educate patients on self-management.
    • Organize and conduct educational sessions on diabetes management and lifestyle choices.
    • Lead and support a team of healthcare professionals, offering training and mentorship as needed.
    • Participate in research and audit activities to enhance evidence-based practice.

    Key Duties:

    • Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital health metrics.
    • Deliver patient education on medication management and lifestyle modifications.
    • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and specialists.
    • Provide support and guidance on self-management strategies for diabetic care.

    Essential Experience:

    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Experience in patient education and diabetes management.
    • Ability to coordinate teams and support group activities.
    • Empathy and advocacy for patient well-being.

    Desired Skills:

    • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records.
    • Experience with administrative tasks related to diabetes care programs.
    • Essential Qualifications:

      • NMC Registration.
      • Postgraduate qualification in diabetes care or a related field.
      • Non-medical independent prescriber qualification or willingness to undertake it.
