    Description

    As an Educational Psychologist for Dudley Council, you will be part of an enthusiastic team that is friendly, supportive, and well-regarded. Professional development is encouraged and time is protected for supervision and planned CPD. There are well-established links with the EP training course at The University of Birmingham and with other West Midlands local authorities.

    Dudley is very successful part-traded service. Trading with schools and colleges ensures early assessment and intervention to build capacity in our settings and support inclusion. Trading with other LA and Health services provides a broad range of work. We trade with services such as Virtual School, YJS, and Inclusion teams. We are commissioned for project work such as ELSA, EBSNA, WSA, nurture, and a broad funded training offer for schools. All EPs have a manageable caseload of schools, projects, statutory and special interest areas.

There are full time and part time positions available on a permanent basis.     EP salary is on Soulbury A Scale Points up to) 3 additional points for SPA.

    Applicants must be post-graduate qualified Educational Psychologists registered with the HCPC, or currently completing Doctoral level training in Educational Psychology.

    The post is full-time however, those interested in part-time will be considered.

    An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.
