    Job Description SENIOR FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER, 12+mth FTC

    ~ Must be available to start with less than 4wks notice

    ~£85,000 - £100,000 + package (incl. bonus)
    ~ Surrey offices x2 p/wk, rest WFH


    Pear Talent is representing an international Financial Services business performing extremely well in 2023 with record growth, who have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner on a 12+mth contract.

    You'll work closely with the Head of FP&A and take a lead role collaborating with key areas of the business by providing in depth financial analysis and strategic insights to support decision making, assessing business cases for strategic initiatives and ensuring commercial viability and alignment with the organisation's goals.

    You'll be expected to be able to quickly gain credibility with senior stakeholders and own key business relationships, as well as demonstrate first class project management and communication skills.

    Work is often ad-hoc and project based.


    Key accountabilities:
    Provide finance business partnering support to the ExCo and wider SLT, delivering strategic decision support by providing ad hoc financial analysis, reports and presentations

    Contribute to the development of their budgets and forecasts, demonstrating and communicating a clear understanding of expense drivers, risks and opportunities.

    Ensure proactive challenge and support for the business to optimise financial management and drive efficiency.
    Support new investment business case production and review, ensuring sufficient financial benefit and ROI.
    Support strategic review of the Finance Change portfolio, ensuring through costs/benefit review.


    Required experience:

    The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant ACA, CIMA or ACCA with a strong academic record and previous experience in a similar Finance Business Partner or FP&A role within Financial Services.

    Exceptional stakeholder management skills
    Strong analytical skills and an ability to apply these to a broad range of commercial issues
    Strong written skills to "tell the financial and business story" in board papers, plans etc.
    Performance management/reporting/planning & forecasting experience
    Strong Influencing, presentation and communication skills
