    SENIOR FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER, 12+ MONTH FTC


    Essential Experience:
    - FBP/FP&A in a complex blue-chip (FS industry adv.)
    - Salary: £85,000 - £100,000 + package (incl. bonus)
    - Flexibility: Surrey offices 2 days a week, rest work from home

    PEAR TALENT is representing a successful international Financial Services organization experiencing outstanding performance in 2023 with remarkable growth. They offer a great opportunity for a seasoned Senior Finance Business Partner for a 12+ month contract.

    You will closely collaborate with the Head of FP&A, playing a key role in engaging with various business areas through detailed financial analysis and strategic insights to facilitate decision-making. This involves evaluating business cases for strategic initiatives, ensuring commercial viability, and alignment with organizational objectives.


    You will need to swiftly establish credibility with senior stakeholders and manage crucial business relationships. Additionally, you must demonstrate top-notch project management and communication skills. The work often involves ad-hoc projects.


    Key Accountabilities:
    - Provide finance business partnering support to the Executive Committee and broader Senior Leadership Team, offering strategic decision support through ad-hoc financial analysis, reports, and presentations.
    - Contribute to budget and forecast development, showcasing a clear understanding of expense drivers, risks, and opportunities.
    - Proactively challenge and assist the business in optimizing financial management and enhancing efficiency.
    - Assist in creating and assessing new investment business cases to ensure financial benefit and ROI.
    - Support the strategic assessment of the Finance Change portfolio, ensuring cost/benefit alignment.


    Required Experience:
    The ideal candidate should be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) with a solid academic background and previous experience in a similar Finance Business Partner or FP&A role within Financial Services. Other necessary skills and qualities include exceptional stakeholder management, strong analytical capabilities for various commercial issues, effective written communication for presenting financial and business insights in board materials, and proficiency in performance management, reporting, planning, and forecasting.
