    Description


    Reporting to the Group HR Manager and working with a HR Administrator, the HR Advisor will be responsible for supporting and managing the day to day HR transactions across our Blackburn sites.

    Introducing Pets ChoiceWe are one of the fastest growing Pet Food manufacturers in the UK with offices and manufacturing sites based in Lancashire, Somerset and South Wales.

    Our products range from Food, Treats, Toys, Accessories, Health and Hygiene.


    Our portfolio of brands includes:
    Webbox, Webbox Naturals, Bob Martin, Felight, Meatiful, TastyBone, Spikes and WildThings

    Responsibilities include:


    First point of contact for general HR queriesCompleting investigation procedures and providing advice on disciplinary mattersSupporting with recruitment across all sites (from advertising roles to offers and onboarding)Manage onboarding process and carry out inductions across the business with new startersConduct exit interviews will all leaversSupport with payroll checks and queriesSupport with the development and implementation of HR working processes.

    Maintain confidentiality and provide a confidential platform for employees to talk about their issues in the workplace.
    Monitor and report on key HR Data / KPI's such as attrition rates, sickness absence etc.

    Working with the Group HR Manager to identify and address any underlying issuesUpdate and issue key company policies and procedures, ensuring they are read, understood and signed to accept.

    Keep up to date with changes in employment law to support in ensuring we remain compliantEmployee relations and support colleague engagement activitiesSupport with ad hoc duties and project workWhat are we looking for?Broad HR generalist experienceCIPD qualified / qualified through experience with minimum 3 years working in HR in a similar levelExperience working in manufacturing industry preferredAble to work at pace and multitask wellExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailActive listenerConfidentialComfortable with IT and picking up new systems.
