Working hours are 08:15-15:45, Monday to Friday.


Scale:
Grade 5, point £24,948-£27,852 FTE), pro rata starting salary of £21,460

This is a great opportunity to come and work in our highly rated secondary school in central Manchester.

We are now looking to appoint a suitably qualified and/or experienced person to take responsibility for recording and ensuring high levels of attendance and punctuality for all students, whilst also working as part of a team dealing with student welfare, safeguarding and child protection across the school.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU:


  • Good working knowledge of relevant safeguarding regulations and child protection issues;
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships at all levels within school and to work effectively in partnership with parents and external agencies;
  • High degree of professionalism in dealing with sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality where necessary;
  • Ideally have experience of working in an educational setting and have effective behaviour management skills;
  • Numeracy and literacy skills at least equivalent to RQF Level 2; good ICT skills are also essential;
  • Be professional, flexible and innovative, with experience of undertaking a wide variety of duties and an ability to deal skilfully with unanticipated situations;
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work well within a team, yet able to demonstrate an ability to work unsupervised utilising their own initiative;
  • Well organised with an adaptable and positive approach to all aspects of the workload;
  • Supportive of the school's excellent staff attendance and punctuality record.
