    Are you a Design Manager with pre & post contract experience

    They operate within Industrial, Distribution, Warehouse & Storage facility sectors. These project values range from £750,000 up to £50 Million. Do you have the skillset to think outside the box on how to work with the supply chain and client to help bring successful projects so that everyone WINS?

    So the business has a good war chest from a track record of successful projects, they have a great reputation with the supply chain. They also have a wonderful reputation in developing their own, helping their team to achieve the levels they want too. No matter if that is Commercial Manager, Senior Project Manager to Director level, they help grow their own.     We are looking for a rounded Design Manager that can work closely with the Pre Construction team in the Head Office whilst supporting sites based across the UK.

    Our client is open to the background you have come from, so that maybe Architecture, Management to Civil engineering. The most valuable asset they are after is for you to be able to see the bigger picture, in all aspects of the construction life cycle of a project.

    As well as the following experience:

    • Main or Sub Contractor experience in a Design or Technical Coordination capacity
    • Design & Build Project Experience
    • IT & Software systems you feel comfortable on
    • Are you a strong communicator and can handle a team or a client when needed
    • You will have the technical understanding to read drawings and review programs
    • Exposure to BIM is not essential but may help in the future
