    This role isnt for the faint heartedand would suit someone who loves being busy It is an incrediblyvaried role and would fit someone who is driven by achievingtargets.

    Being the pointperson for theHome/Studio category will require a strong team ethic and anability to focus on the bigger company picture helping the companyachieve its growth ambitions.

    The successfulcandidate will be joining our awardwinning global business andtaking ownership of growing the awareness and success of ourHome/Studiocategory.

    Tasks

    Therole:

    You will take leadresponsibility for Blackstars Home/Studio product category. Yourgoal is to make Blackstar the #1 choice for home and recordingmusicians worldwide. Success in this role will be measured by theimpact that your initiatives have on the global commercial successand reputation of the Blackstar Home/Studio productoffering.

    You are the specialist for this productcategory you are the main contact internally and externally for anyMarketing Sales Customer Service and fieldneeds.

    The PM owns decisions on and helps tocreate materials and communications for educational presentationaland positioning purposes. These include marketing assets productcopy video and visual content product launch campaigns sellingtools and training and LMScontent.

    Requirements

    Theduties and responsibilities will include but are not limitedto:

    • Develop innovativecontent for the Home/Studio category to engage consumers staff andretailers.
    • Materials and communications willbe evidence based with competitive information industry trends andrealworld applications in mind.
    • Ensure allcontent is onbrand consistent in style and quality and optimisedfor consumers.
    • Deliver Home/Studio categoryproducts from prelaunch to market and monitor sellthrough.
    • Deliver content requirements set by brandmanagement including copywriting developing concepts for print anddigital advertising video direction / production orediting.
    • Communicate launch plans ETAs newproduct production schedules and relevant product information tothe company as required.
    • Provide generaleditorial direction and support.
    • Interface withexternal partners including global distributors anddealers.
    • Understand the competitive landscapebe an expert on our competitors and how the products are positionedin the market.
    • Work with the New Products teamon the planning specification and development of newproducts.
    • Develop compelling productpositioning and messaging strategies for each new product launch aswell as updating and redefining the messaging and marketing contentfor existing products.
    • Be the onscreen facewhen necessary to demonstrate products in video live tradeshows andat retailers. Where appropriate bring in external demonstrators asneeded to support initiatives.
    • Interact withretailers and reps to maintain expert awareness and knowledge ofdealer networks and the retailenvironment.
    • Plan organise and attend video andphoto shoots.
    • Assist and lead trade showpreparations as required by the managementteam.
    • Work closely with the Director ofMarketing and Product Design team on projects that help to increasesales awareness and advocacy of Blackstarproducts.
    • Work closely with the salesdepartment to drive the category sales numberglobally.
    • KPIs for category success include:global sales performance digital and social media stats on /offline reviews artist acquisition media exposure and endusersatisfaction surveys.
    • Manage the categorymarketing budget and report on spend against ROI (Return onInvestment).

    RequiredKnowledge andExperience:

    • Marketingdegree or equivalent Marketing qualification.
    • Minimum 2 years experience within a Marketingrole.
    • Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for ourproducts and be the goto resource for all things Home/Studioproductrelated.
    • Possess the interpersonalskills to develop strong rapport with Blackstar and retailpersonnel artists and members of themedia.
    • Possess excellent organisational andtime management skills; must be able to independently manage adiverse workload while meeting deadlines in a fastpaced businessenvironment.
    • Possess analytical skills and theability to convert numbers to summaries strategies andactions.
    • Must have strong presentation skillson and off camera.
    • Possess a strong workingknowledge of MS Office music DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) andCRM.
    • Demonstrate the desire and drive forcontinual selfimprovement in all relevantareas.
    • Should have the ability to play guitarand have indepth knowledge of guitar amps pedals and associatedequipment plus home and studio recording.
    • Videorecording and editing experience is a majorbenefit.
