  • Lliswerry High School is a thriving, multicultural, 1118 mixed comprehensive school on the eastern side of Newport close to the M4. We currently have a superb opportunity for a talented, passionate and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our school.
  • It is anticipated that the person appointed will support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils in the classroom.
  • You will have NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or an equivalent qualification. Patience, understanding, a caring attitude and the ability to provide support and build positive relationships is essential in this role.
  • Holidays must be taken during school closure periods. The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team and a selection of Governors.
