    This position is based in Beijing and only open to foreign passport holders*Digital Media Editor, CGTNFull Time, 12 month renewable contractABOUT THE JOBWe are seeking a Digital Media Editor for CGTN's Biz Department.

    This role involves producing TV programs and digital media content that covers economic news, business trends, market-moving policies, and in-depth analysis for a global audience.

    As a Digital Media Editor, you will play a crucial role in the entire editorial process, from generating ideas and writing scripts to shooting and post-production.


    YOU WILL NEED TO:
    Edit videos for , CGTN Biz, and various social media platforms.
    Publish videos on a daily basis to provide creative and engaging content for a global audience.
    Generate additional video content tailored for social and digital platforms.
    Shoot and produce videos with visual effects using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and FCP software.
    Demonstrate a high standard of editorial judgment and headline writing skills.
    Contribute to the online service with your digital skills.


    YOU MUST HAVE:
    Experience in video editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite and FCP software.
    Strong understanding of video production processes, including shooting, editing, and post-production.
    Extensive knowledge of and active use of social media platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook.
    Previous media experience, preferably at a news network.

    At least two years of post-graduate work experience as an editor (required for Visa purposes).Proficient English writing and communication skills.
