    ONLINE EDITOR

    ENGINEERING PORTFOLIO

    Mark Allen is looking for an Online Editor to develop and take ownership of its digital content and social media across its brands – Eureka, New Electronics, Manufacturing Management and Machinery and MADE in Ireland.

    This is a hybrid role, 3 days in our Dartfordoffice, with a starting salary of up to£27,000 (DOE) plus benefits .We will provide on-the-job training where required so you feel fully supported.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Be an integral part ofdeveloping and managing new digital initiatives to raise the websites' editorial and commercial profile.

    • Grow this role by researching and taking ownership ofyour own stories.
    • Write and edit news items across a range of exciting topics in this loved industry.
    • Manage the digital content
    • Demonstrate creativity and take ownershipof the titles' social media profiles enhancing the brand profiles and increasing our exposure to a wider audience.
    • Liaise with the industry to source content
    • Collaborate with print editors to ensure synergy between digital and print content

    Your transferrable skills:

    • You can demonstrate previouseditorial skills - there is an option to upload previous examples of your written work in the application.
    • Some experience producing and optimising web content or certainly a willingness to learn.
    • Knowing how to use individual social media platforms effectively to reach our target audience. We want you to enjoy utilising these platforms effectively.
    • Good interpersonal and communicationskills.
    • The ability to prioritise your work andmultitask.
    • Attention to detail is a must.
