- Safely carry out routine tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating an awareness of safety implications in a high-risk setting
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders such as Engineering, Royal Navy, MoD, and Build Operations to ensure operations are conducted safely and complying with regulations
- Guide and support less experienced team members within your expertise
- Conduct research, review technical design documents, and create Test Documentation accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of work activities as per company policies and regulations
- Represent the company in various tests and trial activities, including Factory Acceptance Tests and overseas trials
- Responsible for executing assigned tasks in alignment with company policies and procedures
- Lead Testing and Commissioning of mechanical systems onboard
- Familiarity with mechanical system operations, particularly hydraulic, pressurized air, gas systems, domestic and chilled water, and tank testing
- Experience in commissioning complex systems and plants
- Knowledge of test equipment and procedures required for specific tests
- Understanding of Mechanical Flushing, Pressure & Endurance Testing, and system initialization
- Ability to document and issue Rip Out instructions, identifying correct isolations for system safety
- Desirable: HNC in Mechanical Engineering
