We have a new opportunity to be part of the Machine Shop team in the role of Material Controller.The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, proactive and have a 'can do' attitude.
The Successful candidate must have the following attributes:
Possess an excellent working knowledge of warehouse management.
Possess a thorough understanding of ERP systems.
Forklift license Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards working hours.
Be available to travel as and when required to fulfil the requirements of the role in which employed.
To be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.
Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.
To communicate effectively, positively and respectfully with all colleaguesTo have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
Be results orientated and be confident in your decision-making skills.Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & SafetyThe Key responsibilities of this role are:
To manage and control the machine shop's raw materials warehouse.
Material loading and unloading. Preparation and allocation of raw materials to production ordersGoods in and goods out booking.
The ability to use Manual machinery to prepare material. The ability to use CNC machinery to prepare material will be a benefit.
To review and continuously improve the material warehouse. To keep the ERP System up to date with the latest transactions.
To attend and proactively participate in meetings as required.
To demonstrate a flexible and understanding approach to the department's needs.
To lead by example.
To meet the requirements and demands of the busy periods.
To work proactively, responsibly and professionally always and to respect and comply with the company's reporting structure.
To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard.
This is a day Shift role Mon-Fri.
