    Opportunity

  • Lead and deliver technical and business test execution phases using manual and automated testing practices
  • Supervise, prioritize, and delegate work assignments to test analysts, business users and SMEs
  • Coordinate test preparation, test execution and defect management
  • Coordinate creation and validation of test scenarios, test cases and test scripts
  • Assist in the identification, selection and implementation of tools, technologies, and practices that support the overall QA process
  • Liaise with internal teams and vendors to ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place and kept up-to-date
  • Participate in functional as well as technical discussions with the vendors, internal business workstreams and programme disciplines
  • Work closely with product owners & SMEs to ensure acceptance criteria are accurately captured and share feedback as needed
  • Provide regular and timely testing progress updates using MI reports, dashboards, test metrics & defect metrics
  • Step in and take junior roles as and when necessary

    • Must have skills

  • 10+ years of experience in software testing plus 5+ years of team leadership experience
  • Experience in large scale front-office, middle-office and back-office programme delivery in asset management/financial services sector
  • Deep understanding and business knowledge on OEMS End-to-End life cycle covering all asset classes
  • Experience in leading technical and business test execution phases using both manual and automated testing practices
  • Expert knowledge of functional and non-functional testing practices in the context of large-scale programme delivery
  • Hands on experience in test management, defect management & test execution
  • A good understanding in test data generation, simulation, masking, seeding & maintenance for a large scale programme
  • Ability to plan and drive a data testing strategy
  • Familiarity with test and defect management tools
  • Competency in SQL and relational database concepts
  • Familiar with all major test cycles (Unit, System, Regression, End-to-End, SIT, NFT, UAT, JUAT, Model Office, Parallel)
  • Familiar with Waterfall and Agile SDLC approaches; certifications are a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and think out of the box
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, combined with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills across cultural borders and different hierarchy levels
  • Excellent report writing and presentational skills
  • Certification in testing practices

  • Automated test scripting and execution
  • Testing exposure on fund accounting and/or TPA migration
  • Transformation, migration or re-platforming programme experience
