    Job overview

    An opportunity has arisen for 2 positions with our Gynaecology Outpatient service .

    Position 1 – Working in our Outpatient area covering Early Pregnancy and Emergency Gynaecology Unit, Colposcopy, and Ambulatory Services. The work pattern will cover core hours Monday to Friday with some weekend working to ensure that the service needs are met. However, part-time or flexible working patterns will be considered.

    Position 2 – Working in the Pregnancy Advisory Service, this is a part time position over 3 set days. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 5 hours each day.

    We are looking for a caring and motivated person to join our team and work in our Gynaecology Outpatient Department. We value kind and compassionate people and would welcome applications from those keen to support those accessing Women's Health services.

    Main duties of the job

    The role of a Senior Healthcare Assistant in Gynaecology Outpatient services requires you to:

    ·Demonstrate an interest in Women's Health in able to advocate on behalf and patients, partners and colleagues.

    ·Provide assistance to women undergoing outpatient's procedures in the services.

    ·Demonstrate an interest in developing your knowledge in Women's Health

    ·In collaboration with the registered clinical staff be able to support individual clinics; managing the clinical environment with the Trophon system.

    ·Undertake relevant clinical skills and functions commensurate with the role requirement venepuncture, cannulation.

    ·Respect the confidentiality of women and staff in accordance with Trust Policy.

    ·Be able to demonstrate competence in the use of IT platforms such as EPIC.
