    We are seeking an Employment Solicitor to develop our Employment Law offering in the Bristol and Gloucester regions.

    This role offers the opportunity to grow an Employment Law Team and progress through the management structure, reporting directly to the Legal Director and Head of Employment Law.

    Conduct day-to-day management of allocated employment files and connected work, including advocacy where appropriate.
    Handle all aspects of Employment Law for both employers and employees confidently.
    Achieve billing targets in line with departmental goals.
    Provide employment advice to the Company and Commercial department.
    Handle queries from other offices, with potential travel to these locations.
    Liaise and manage relationships with support staff, including performance management if required.
    Supervise trainee solicitors and contribute to their development.
    Collaborate with the Head of Department on financial budgeting and training opportunities.
    Participate in business development activities, including networking, writing articles, and delivering seminars.
    Engage in regular professional development.
    Exhibit flexibility, particularly during periods of holiday/sickness cover.
    Apply professional standards and best practices to prevent claims of professional negligence.
    Qualified Employment Solicitor with experience in handling a wide range of employment law matters.
    Strong advocacy skills and experience in both employer and employee representation.
    Willingness to engage in business development and networking activities.
    Proficiency in maintaining electronic records and compliance with departmental procedures.
