    The Role:

    You will be part of our digital onboarding team within our Third-Party Administration area based in our Glasgow or Edinburgh office responsible for the onboarding of new Pensions Administration clients. The purpose of the role is to extract , analyse, transform, and load data from a range of sources into the Pensions Administration System (UPM).

    Main Activities:

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data issues, discrepancies, and risks.
  • Ensure data sets are complete, consistent and the data has integrity.

    • Assists With:

  • Ensure requirements of the client and project have been delivered.
  • Attend meetings with clients and prospective clients as required.

    • Ways of Working:

  • Follows the team's onboarding lifecycle.
  • Follows the team's agile way of working and iterations of delivery.
  • Understands the part Digital Onboarding plays in the wider delivery of client service.
  • Seeks to make continuous improvements to service quality by identifying areas where service to members and clients could be improved.
  • Creates and maintains internal documents and working practices and helps embed these with the team.
  • Ensures accurate and timely recording of all work in the time recording system.

    • Technical Knowledge, Processing and Procedures:

  • Grows their skills and experience to develop their career.
  • Assists colleagues with technical or process issues and non-standard cases.
  • Ensures all work is processed through the correct workflow process.

    • Skills and Experience required:

  • Experience in the validation, cleansing and analysis of large, complex datasets and data mapping across different sources.
  • Experience of Microsoft applications including PowerBI, SQL Server Management Studio and Azure Dev Ops.
  • Experience of Extract, Transform and Load techniques.
  • Experience of working with SQL databases or similar, particularly in the development of automated scripts and reports.
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to pinpoint and remedy all anomalies.
  • Passionate about solving problems and producing creative solutions.
  • Clear, concise, and accurate communications, tuned to the audience.
  • Plans and organises time and workload effectively to meet client deadlines.
  • A proactive self-starter who can work independently and act on their own initiative.
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to work quickly and accurately.
  • A dedicated team member and works in a consultative, collaborative manner with others, including non-technical colleagues.
  • Degree qualified in a numerate subject, or equivalent.
  • Professional standard of learning in Python and SQL.
