- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, offering front-line applications support for genomics equipment.
- Assist customers in experimental design, sample preparation, and sequencing workflows to ensure optimal instrument performance.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support, addressing customer inquiries and troubleshooting issues effectively.
- Conduct training sessions for customers on the installation, operation, and maintenance of genomics equipment.
- Develop and deliver educational materials, including workshops and training programs, to enhance customer proficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback on customer needs and contribute to the improvement of product offerings.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their research goals and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Regularly communicate with customers to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure their success with our genomics equipment.
- Record and document relevant customer interactions, issues, and solutions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, application notes, and FAQs for customer reference.
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Molecular Biology, Genetics, or Life Sciences.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role within the life sciences industry, preferably in genomics or related fields.
- Strong background in genomics, with hands-on experience in experimental design, sample preparation, and sequencing workflows.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving, with the ability to address customer inquiries effectively.
- Willingness to travel (up to [percentage]% of the time) to customer sites for on-site support and training.
