    Description

FEP WaterMap Glide Maestro and LiveDesign are just afew examples of the applications weve created.As a member of our UKApplications Science team youll train and guide customers in theiruse of our groundbreaking molecular modelling suites providestrategic scientific support and address challenging problems indrug discovery.

    Whatyoull do:

    • Providescientific support to current and prospective customers whichincludes demonstration of optimal use of our life science softwaresuites facilitation of interactions between customers and productdevelopment teams and general scientificguidance
    • Troubleshoot customers scientificworkflows administration and adaptation of their modellingenvironment
    • Engage in cuttingedgemethodological scientific research and advise our customers on bestpractices for computational modelling
    • Publishscientific papers and present atconferences

    Whatyou should have:

    • PhD incomputational chemistry bioinformatics or a relatedfield
    • A solid understanding of the commercialdrug discovery process and of medicinalchemistry
    • Demonstrable Python programmingexperience
    • Experience with cheminformaticschemical data structures databases and administration of softwareor applications
    • Excellent English languageskills (both verbal and written)
    • Willingness totravel but be located primarily in theUK

    One of thefollowing is aplus:

    • Postdoctoralresearch and/or relevant experience in the commercialsector
    • Expertise in ligandbased drug designmachine learning
    • Expertise in structurebaseddrug design molecular dynamics free energycalculations
    • French and/or Spanish languageskills
