About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Regular monitoring and validation of contact records created in the CRM system
  • Working closely with the CRM team to ensure that the data entered and retained in the CRM system is of a good quality
  • Regular reporting of data quality, including progress reports on how data cleansing measures undertaken have improved or maintained data quality
  • Regular reflection and review of data cleansing strategies undertaken, including amending as appropriate to reflect the needs of the firm
  • Managing the retention and/or deletion of records within the CRM system according to GDPR guidelines along with the company's data retention policy
  • Data Steward administration maintain administrative activities associated with the following nonexhaustive list of Data Stewarding processes:
  • Keeping marketing lists up to date
  • Keeping contact and company records up to date
  • Keeping an audit trail of all modifications made during data cleansing?
  • Managing the validation of new contacts and merging duplicate records
  • Resolve data issues from client data imported from the Practice Management system
  • Deal with data requests as a result of our GDPR data processes

About You

As the Data Steward, you will:

  • Contribute to process improvements to maximise efficiency and effectiveness, undertake all Data Steward administration processes and to proactively seek improvements and efficiencies to add value to our clients
  • Obtain correct levels of authorisation for work performed and adhering to System Operating Procedures
To be successful in this role, you will be:

  • Problem solver, detail oriented, pro-active and team worker
  • Highly numerical with attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Understanding of GDPR and other data protection regulations
  • Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
If you meet the below, that would be beneficial but is by no means essential:

  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
  • Have a working knowledge of data cleansing tools
