Applications are invited from individuals for an excellent opportunity to become a Disclosure Risk Assessor on a one year fixed term contract within the DBS/Disclosure Team of the Information Security and Governance Department.


An ability to demonstrate sound judgement in analysing and interpreting complex information is required and there is also an element of training and mentoring new staff and auditing their work and providing advice to colleagues both internal to the Team and Force-wide.

Therefore, you will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public.


You will be a self-motivated individual with strong organisational skills in order to manage a high workload with minimum supervision.

Due to on-going development in working practices, you will need to be flexible and able to adapt to change.

Good IT skills in Microsoft Office products, are essential as you will be expected to update and maintain documents. You will also have an ability to produce high quality disclosure texts, requiring a good use of English language.

The working hours for this role is Monday to Friday.

Kent Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £29,073.00.
