Job Summary

_Are you a self-starter that enjoys working outdoors? If you would enjoy playing a key role to maintain and improve the day-to-day running of a busy terminal, then this could be the job for you._

What will you be doing?

As a Site Maintenance Operative, you will complete daily general site house-keeping and maintenance duties at the Buncefield Oil Terminal and other local surrounding sites (on a routine basis) in order to ensure the sites remain clean, tidy, orderly and safe to work at.

This role will involve working closely with the Terminal Manager and using your own initiative to plan your time and activities.

This role would benefit from practical hands-on DIY skills (self-made/achieved) such as painting, decorating, de-weeding, usage of general tools etc.

What do we need from you?

Ability to work unsupervised but also work within a small team
Be prepared to work outside for sustained periods and in changing weather conditions with appropriate PPE supplied by BPA (Personal Protective Equipment).
Be able to prioritise, problem solve and adapt with changing priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic IT skills with the ability/willingness to learn internal IT systems.
Previous experience of DIY (selfmade/achieved) skills (painting, decorating, usage of general tools etc).
Current Full driving licence is required.
