    Project Engineer – Interiors / ExteriorsCoventry £35,000 - £50,000 DOEThe Recruitment Bunker are recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer for a leading company based in Coventry.

    Reporting into the Programme Director the Project Engineer will play a pivotal role utilising various techniques to ensure that the project deliverables are completed to a high standard in line with the overall project timing.

    Overview of the roleProject Engineer – Interiors / ExteriorsSalary:

    ResponsibilitiesCompany Policies:

    Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the companyTo oversee project budgets and supervise the preliminary stages of major projectsAssessing production costs and other vital data pertaining to the projectCompiling data derived from reports, revising time schedules according to necessity overseeing the quality of work at project siteSupport project review meetingsLiaise with Engineering teams, Manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the timely closure of all actionsResponsible for the general management of the development and production stages of projectsProduce product design and development plansEnsuring all safety & legal requirements are being followed, interpreting clients' necessities, pinpointing, and addressing engineering problems and implementing solutions.

    Essential SkillsStrong experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within interiors / exteriors or within a Project Support/ Management role, in a fast paced, forward-thinking businessLiaise and communicate with other departments, suppliers, and other service providersAbility to manage one's own time, multitask and prioritise workload accordinglyProven record of people & project managementProficient in project management tools, Microsoft Office, and other relevant softwareAbility to produce reports and conduct meetingsPlans work and cascades to teamIntegrates departmental planning with other business unitsDemonstrates good emotional intelligence, ethics, and professionalismOrganised, Methodical but Flexible approach to workloadMust have IDLR/ Full right to work in UK- Sponsorship will not be provided.

    Desirable SkillsExperience and knowledge of designing project guidelines and proceduresCan lead moderate teamsEngineering degree or equivalent in a relevant subject Please note we do not provide sponsorships to those who require it and will only accept applications from those who have full rights to work in the UK with no restrictions and IDLR/Full Settlement status.
